I take your privacy as seriously as I take my own and I will take all reasonable steps to protect your privacy as far as I am able. I will never sell your details on to a third party

What sort of personal data do I collect?
I hold your name and email address if you have subscribed to my mailing list to receive periodic emails and newsletters. I hold your name and postal address if you have won one of my competitions.

Why do I hold this data?
I hold your name and email address in order to be able to send you my quarterly newsletters which include the latest instalment of my Readers’ Group serials. I will also occasionally send other emails to you when I have important news I would like to share with you such as when I have a new book coming out. I hold your name and postal address if you are a winner of a competition in order that I can send you your prize.

How long do I hold this data?
I hold your name and email address for as long as you continue to subscribe to my mailing list to receive my emails and newsletters. I hold the names and addresses of competition winners for one year from the date of the competition and then I delete them.

Who do I share your data with?
I only share your data with trusted partners who help me to deliver a service to you such as Mailchimp, my newsletter provider and my website host amongst others. In order to access free material you will sometimes be directed to Bookfunnel or Dropbox.

Your right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw consent for me to use your data at any time. You can do this simply by clicking on the unsubscribe button which appears at the bottom of all of my periodic emails and quarterly newsletters. This will be actioned as quickly as possible but will not be instantaneous.
